Usns john ericsson (T-AO 194) deactivation. The contractor will prepare for and accomplish the deactivation, overhaul, or alterations of the usns john ericsson in accordance with Military Sealift Command (MSC) requirements and quality standards, as specified in the work item package. Tasks include voyage repair, procurement and management of materials, production, testing, technical support, progress measurement, quality control, configuration management, subcontractor oversight, and compliance with industry certifications such as msra or ISO. The contractor must also demonstrate understanding of engineering support, material availability, weather and emergency plans, and provide detailed man-hour estimates for each specification item.
