Background
The US Coast Guard (USCG) is seeking a contractor to perform dockside repairs on the USCGC CALHOUN (WMSL-759), a 418' National Security Cutter. The goal of this contract is to ensure the vessel is maintained and repaired in accordance with specified requirements, enhancing its operational readiness.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all necessary labor, services, supplies, materials, equipment, power, accessories, personnel, and other items required for dockside repairs. The work items include:

1. Inspecting and testing circuit breakers (draw out);
2. Certifying miscellaneous system relief valves;
3. Renewing slip-resistant deck covering on the stern deck;
4. Providing tenting for the stern deck;
5. Repairing and sealing polymeric deck covering;
6. Cleaning and inspecting multiple fuel service and storage tanks;
7. Installing dewatering overboard discharge connections;
8. Modifying potable water hose connections and dry provision storeroom;
9. Installing weather deck scuppers;
10. Providing welding services; and

This is too allow interested contractors time to submit requests for the new drawings and finalize their proposal prior to the due dates. Attached are Attach A - Specs_Rev 02, responses to questions received titled "USCGC Calhoun-Request for Clarification Responses."

04 Sept 2026: Amend 0001: The purpose is to add an additional definitive work item into the Specs (WORK ITEM 3: Talon Grid (Type 18-08), Inspect and Test), extend the proposal due date from 14 Sept 2026 to 28 Sept 2026, provide a suspense date of NLT 11AM EST, 11 Sept 2026 for technical package requests due to the additional work item, and provide the following revised documents: Attachment A - Specification CALHOUN (WMSL-759), Rev 1, dtd 03SEP2026 and Attachment B Pricing CALHOUN (WMSL-759) SOS&S, Rev 1.

This requirement is for the Contractor to provide all necessary labor, services, supplies, materials, equipment, power, accessories, personnel, and other things as necessary, except otherwise specified to perform dockside repairs to the USCGC CALHOUN (WMSL-759), a 418' National Security Cutter in accordance with the solicitation, schedule and specifications.
