1. INTRODUCTION
This Sources Sought (SS) is issued solely for market research purposes to determine potential sources and industry capabilities. This notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ), or Invitation for Bid (IFB) and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue an order or otherwise pay for the information solicited, nor is it a guarantee of a forthcoming solicitation or contract. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. It is the responsibility of potential respondents to monitor SAM.gov for additional information pertaining to this requirement.

2. PURPOSE AND ANTICIPATED SCOPE
Shaw AFB is conducting market research for the potential purchase of one (1) Commercial-Grade Low Speed Vehicle

3. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT
The contractor shall provide commercial-grade Low Speed Vehicle IAW Salient Characteristics (Attach 1 Salient Characteristics UTV

Background
Shaw Air Force Base (AFB) is conducting market research to identify potential sources and industry capabilities for the purchase of a commercial-grade Low Speed Vehicle. This Sources Sought notice is intended solely for market research purposes and does not constitute a commitment by the Government to issue an order or pay for information solicited.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide one (1) Commercial-Grade Low Speed Vehicle that meets the following salient characteristics:

- **Overall Requirements:**
- Must be gasoline type.
- Maximum speed must not exceed 19 MPH.
- Maximum weight must not exceed 3,000 lbs.
- Equipped with a gas-assist dump box for easy unloading of heavy loads.
- Steering tilt adjustment.

- **Suspension:**
- Front Suspension: Dual A-arm.
- Rear Suspension: Dual A-arm.
- Front Travel: 10" (25.4 cm).
- Rear Travel: 10" (25.4 cm).

- **Brakes:**
- Front braking system: 4-wheel hydraulic disc with dual-bore front and rear calipers.
- Rear braking system: 4-wheel hydraulic disc with dual-bore front and rear calipers.
- Parking Brake: Park in-transmission.

- **Wheels & Tires:**
- Industrial heavy-duty tires, Wheels: 12" steel.
- Front Tire: 25 x 10-12; Carlstar 489.
- Rear Tire: 25 x 11-12; Carlstar 489.
