Kenosha County Silver Lake Park Beach Kayak/Paddleboard Rental Operation

Background
Kenosha County is seeking a qualified vendor with previous rental experience to bring Silver Lake Park beach to a higher level of customer services by offering a self-serve, digital rental experience to its guests. Kenosha County Parks has a flexible platform that will consider the creativity of the proposed vendor to provide services that accommodate both the business goals as well as customer experience within the beach area.

Work Details
The vendor is required to provide Kayak and Paddleboard rentals at Silver Lake Park Beach, 27000 85th Street Silver Lake, WI 53170. The rentals must be open daily from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day with minimum hours of 8am – 6pm and maximum of 8am – 10pm. The contractor must operate within designated premises and allow customers to operate this amenity on a self-serve basis.
A percentage of gross sales will be shared with Kenosha County, and amenity upgrades shall be the responsibility of the Contractor. The Contractor is responsible for supplying all Kayak and Paddleboards being made available for rent along with life jackets, and maintaining these resources. They are also responsible for all marketing and advertising to promote its activities.
The Contractor shall compile and provide County with a detailed summary report of all sales activities and a financial reconciliation of all commissions owed and paid on a monthly basis.

Period of Performance
The contract will begin upon execution per the terms of the contract and will continue for a period of five years. Contract may be extended by mutual written agreement.
