Work Zone Speed Cameras

Background
WSDOT is initiating this solicitation to acquire a SA that will provide equipment, data collection services, customer service, violation processing, appeals processing and support, and payment processing in support of the Work Zone Speed Camera program. The objective is to reduce the number of speeding vehicles in construction work zones to reduce the danger to workers and the traveling public. WSDOT has authority to enter into this Contract under RCW 46.63.200 and Ch. 39.26 RCW.

Work Details
Vendor shall provide purchased services for a complete turnkey digital photo Work Zone Speed Camera system in any Work Zone on highways in the State of Washington. The purchased services include but are not limited to, Equipment, Hardware, Software, and Services as further detailed in this Contract.
Vendor shall supply enforcement units, facilitate planning and coordination meetings, conduct training, perform back-office activities, collect and store data, all as further described in this section and WSDOT RFP 2024 0402 (Exhibit B).

Period of Performance
The term of this Contract shall commence upon the last signature date (Effective Date) and terminate June 30, 2027, unless terminated early as provided elsewhere herein; Provided, that WSDOT shall have the right, at its sole option, to extend three (3) additional one (1) year terms.
