EWU has been working on our UPS inventory and replacement plan keeping our goal in mind which is to simplify our UPS environment by standardizing on one manufacturer utilizing only two models. We determined that a full replacement of our UPS gear on campus will be the most ideal solution as most of our UPS gear is between the manufacturing years of 2010-2017. These units are failing, and battery replacements are currently bought as needed due to little or no inventory for certain models.
Background
Eastern Washington University (EWU) is seeking to simplify its Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) environment by standardizing on one manufacturer and utilizing only two models.
The goal of this contract is to replace aging UPS equipment that is failing, as most units are between the manufacturing years of 2010-2017.
This replacement plan aims to ensure reliability and efficiency in the university's power management systems.

Work Details
The contract involves the procurement of the following items:
1. 34 units of APC UPS SMX3000HVT
2. 26 units of APC UPS SMX2KR2UX145
3. 5 units of APCRBC143 - Replacement Battery
4. 5 units of APCRBC117 - Replacement Battery
All equipment must be new; used equipment will not be accepted.

Period of Performance
The equipment needs to arrive approximately 16-24 weeks after the order is completed.

The delivery location for the products is Eastern Washington University, 1320 Woodward Ln, Bldg E, Cheney, WA 99004.
