Repair Auto Body Damage on a F150 Crewcab Pickup

Background
The Commonwealth of Virginia's Department of Wildlife Resources (DWR) is seeking bids for the repair of a 2023 FORD F-150 Police Responder XL SuperCrew 4WD pickup truck that sustained damage from an animal impact.

The agency's mission includes ensuring the safety and functionality of its law enforcement vehicles, which is critical for their operations.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for restoring damage to the driver's side door exterior, which includes the deployment of 6 airbags (all 4 side curtain airbags and both front seat airbags).

The following parts require replacement: both driver's side doors, air bag control module, left side impact sensor for front door and rear pillar, seat covers for both front seats, seat belt and height adjuster for driver, headliner, and pillar trim surrounding the curtain airbags.

All parts must be OEM parts. The contractor must include all applicable labor charges related to teardown, painting, installation, and reinstallation of all parts. Additionally, a freight/towing fee from Glenn's Automotive Inc. to the contractor facility is required. In case further damage is discovered during teardown, change orders will be issued to reflect adjusted estimates.

Period of Performance
The delivery of the repaired vehicle shall occur by 12 p.m. on March 3, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the contractor’s facility. The agency will pick up the vehicle from the contractor upon completion.
