Medical Scrubs Uniforms

Background
The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSA) is soliciting proposals for high-quality Medical Uniforms for clinical and non-clinical staff across multiple departments. The university aims to establish a contractual agreement with vendors that can consistently meet their needs for uniform availability, product quality, and customer service. UTHSA is a prominent academic research institution in South Texas, dedicated to improving lives through education, research, and healthcare.

Work Details
Proposers must provide durable, comfortable, and professionally styled medical uniforms available in various sizes and styles for men and women. The uniforms include:
- Medical Scrubs (tops and bottoms)
- Lab Coats
- Polos
- Jackets
- Vests
- Other items as deemed necessary for UTHSA employees.

Additionally, optional embroidery services for the University Logo, Department Name, and Employee Name are required. The awarded Proposer(s) will implement a voucher program where eligible employees receive a $100 uniform voucher redeemable for approved uniform items.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective from the date of award until the completion of the requirements as specified in the solicitation. There is no guarantee of volume or minimum number of services under this RFB.

Place of Performance
The services will primarily be performed at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, with potential delivery locations as specified by the university.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) requirements and submit a HUB Subcontracting Plan (HSP) as part of their proposal. Bidders are encouraged to utilize certified HUBs when subcontracting any work. All proposals must be submitted electronically through UTHSA’s e-Procurement Portal.
