Background
The City of Dallas Fair Park is a historic 277-acre cultural and entertainment complex. The Park and Recreation Department (PKR) is seeking proposals to establish a three-year contract with one two-year renewal option for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) agreement. The goal is to partner with a qualified firm to provide full-service, turnkey event production services that support a variety of events throughout Fair Park's venues, emphasizing customer service excellence, reliability, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent events.
Work Details
The selected vendor will provide end-to-end event production services including:
- **Furniture & Equipment**: Tables (various sizes), chairs, pipe & drape, tents (structure and pole), portable restrooms (individual cans, ADA compliant), HVAC needs for tenting.
- **Audio/Visual Services**: Microphones, speakers, amplifiers, mixers, projection or LED screens, video switching/control equipment.
- **Lighting**: Stage wash lighting, moving head lighting, rigging systems.
- **Staging**: Built stages and platforms.
- **Environmental & Operational Support**: Trash removal services, carpet, stanchions, barricades, event lighting, power distribution solutions.
- **Staffing**: Dedicated Event Director/Coordinator and janitorial services before/during/after events. The vendor must also support multiple simultaneous events across various Fair Park venues.
Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award by the Dallas City Council and execution of the contract. The initial term is three years with an option for one two-year renewal.
