25-040 (BS) Cisco Network Switch Equipment and Installation for Construction Schools (E-Rate)

Background
The San Antonio Independent School District (SAISD) is seeking proposals for the provision of Cisco Network Switch Equipment and Installation for Construction Schools under the E-Rate program. This initiative aims to enhance the technological infrastructure of construction schools within the district. The award of this contract is contingent upon the availability of funding from both the District and E-Rate, with no guarantee of a minimum amount of work implied.

Work Details
The contractor will provide Cisco Network Switch Equipment and installation services as needed across various construction schools in the district. Specific requirements include:
1. Supply and installation of Cisco network switches;
2. Services to be determined on an 'as needed' basis for district-wide use;
3. Compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws;
4. Adherence to the General Terms & Conditions attached to this RFP.

Period of Performance
The contract will be valid for one year from the date of Board of Trustees approval, with options to renew for two additional one-year periods based on mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various construction school locations within the San Antonio Independent School District.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have a preferred Cisco Channel Partner designation. Insurance is mandatory as per item #60 in the General Terms & Conditions. Vendors must comply with all federal procurement certifications, including debarment and suspension checks, and must not be listed on any federal exclusion lists.
