Description

TWRA Bat Mist Net Data
Background
The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) is issuing this solicitation for a five-year contract under its Biodiversity Division.

The goal of the contract is to conduct mist net surveys for bats across one wildlife management area (WMA) in each TWRA administrative region annually. The data collected will support environmental reviews related to TWRA's management actions, enhance knowledge about threatened and endangered bat species, and aid in conservation planning.

Work Details
The contractor will perform annual mist net surveys for bats at one wildlife management area in each of the TWRA's administrative regions over a five-year period.

The data collected will be stored by the Terrestrial program within the Biodiversity Division at TWRA. The specific deliverables include:
1. Year 1: Wildlife Survey, Bat Mist Net Data Survey
2. Year 2: Wildlife Survey, Bat Mist Net Data Survey
3. Year 3: Wildlife Survey, Bat Mist Net Data Survey
4. Year 4: Wildlife Survey, Bat Mist Net Data Survey
5. Year 5: Wildlife Survey, Bat Mist Net Data Survey.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on October 31, 2024, and conclude on December 18, 2024, covering a total duration of five years with annual surveys conducted each year.

Place of Performance
The surveys will be conducted in various wildlife management areas across the state of Tennessee as designated by the TWRA.
