ITB 6806 Tractors

Background
The City of Johnson City, Tennessee, is issuing this Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the procurement of tractors as part of its Public Works Department's operational needs. The goal is to acquire a compact tractor with a trailer and a low profile 4x4 tractor to enhance the efficiency of city maintenance and public works activities.

Work Details
The contract includes the following items:

1. One (1) Compact Tractor with Trailer:
- Specifications include a minimum 37 HP diesel powered model year 2024 or current commercial 4WD compact tractor with attachments and trailer.
- Minimum operating weight of 2700 lbs.
- Minimum wheelbase of 62 inches.
- Minimum turn radius of 8 feet.
- Direct injection, vertical, water-cooled, 4-cycle, 3-cylinder diesel engine.
- Rear live independent PTO with hydraulic clutch.
- Minimum lift capacity of 1950 lbs. at lift point.
- Delivery must include shop service manuals and a minimum of 15 gallons of fuel.

2. One (1) Low Profile 4x4 Tractor:
- Specifications include a four-wheel drive diesel powered conventional all-weather cab tractor body model year 2024 or later.
- Minimum engine power of 100 HP with turbocharged/fuel injected diesel engine.
- Power reverser shifting type transmission with a minimum twelve-speed range in forward and reverse.
- Minimum lift capacity of 7000 lbs. with Category II hitch.
- Delivery must include shop service manuals and a minimum of 30 gallons of fuel.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to be fulfilled by October 16, 2024, when bids are due.

Place of Performance
The delivery location for the tractors is the JC Public Works/Street Division, C/O City Garage, located at 209 Water Street, Johnson City, TN 37601.
