Background
The Rhode Island State Police are seeking offers from full-service automotive and light truck repair facilities to provide a wide range of maintenance and repair services for vehicles in their fleet. This initiative aims to ensure that the fleet remains operational and efficient, supporting the agency's mission to serve and protect the community.

Work Details
The contract involves providing maintenance and repair services for vehicles categorized by their Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). Specific services include:

1. Hourly repair rates for category 1 vehicles (10,000 pounds GVW or less) and category 2 vehicles (10,001 pounds GVW or more).
2. Hourly repair rates for Zero Emission Vehicles within both categories.
3. Daily storage rates for both categories of vehicles.
4. A discount off the manufacturer's list price for parts, not less than 5%.

The contract will cover the period from August 1, 2025, to July 31, 2028.

Period of Performance
The initial contract period will begin approximately on August 1, 2025, and will last for three years. There are options to renew for up to two additional 12-month periods based on vendor performance and availability of funds.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at designated locations as required by the Rhode Island State Police Fleet.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must register in Ocean State Procures™ to submit solicitation responses. They are required to maintain all necessary licenses and insurance during the contract term. Insurance requirements include:

- Liability coverage of $1 million per occurrence
- Workers' compensation coverage
- Automobile liability insurance
- Professional liability insurance among others.
