DOC Threading and Embroidery for the Embroidery Shop

Background
The State of Rhode Island Department of Corrections is seeking a vendor to provide threading and embroidery materials for its embroidery shop. The goal of this contract is to ensure the availability of necessary supplies for the operations of the shop, which supports various correctional programs.

Work Details
The vendor will supply threading and embroidery materials as specified in the solicitation. This includes providing a discount price total as calculated in the bid sheet. The quantities required are estimated, and the agreement will cover actual quantities ordered during the contract term.

Deliveries will be billed at the awarded unit price quoted regardless of quantities ordered, and inside delivery is included at no extra cost.

Period of Performance
The initial contract period will begin approximately in Spring 2026 and will last for three years. There is an option to renew for up to two additional 12-month periods based on vendor performance and availability of funds.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed within the State of Rhode Island, specifically at locations designated by the Department of Corrections.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must register in Ocean State Procures™ to submit responses. They must comply with insurance requirements, including liability coverage of $1 million per occurrence, workers' compensation, and automobile liability. Vendors are required to acknowledge their understanding of all requirements outlined in this solicitation.
