RFI for new CVIEW system

Background
The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT), through its Commercial Vehicle Registration (CVR) group within the Commerce and Compliance Division (CCD), is seeking information for a new Commercial Vehicle Information Exchange Window (CVIEW) system. This RFI may serve as a preliminary step to help ODOT develop a formal Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit CVIEW software suppliers.

The current CVIEW system faces significant challenges, including limited scalability, outdated IT infrastructure, and inadequate real-time data sharing capabilities. These issues hinder effective management of interstate commerce and compliance with safety regulations.

Work Details
The new CVIEW system should ensure seamless, real-time, and batch transfer of motor carrier and commercial vehicle data between CVIEW and external systems. Key functionalities include:
