The County of Ocean is seeking a contractor to provide maintenance services for the County Truck Wash and supply necessary chemical products. The goal of this contract is to ensure the efficient operation and upkeep of the truck wash facilities located at Toms River and Manahawkin garages, which are equipped with specialized washing systems.
Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for:
1. Supplying truck wash chemical supplies in 330-gallon totes or 55-gallon drums, including:
- GT Shine A-503 Lemon Spray Wax, or equal
- DuBois Treo Transit, or equal
- Restore Cleaner, or equal
- ZEP Industrial Purple Cleaner/Degreaser, or equal.
2. Performing maintenance on the truck wash systems, including:
- Bi-monthly inspections of all operating equipment with oiling and cleaning.
- Ensuring all systems are operational and placing them in automatic mode after maintenance.
- Responding to service calls within 24 hours.
3. Providing an itemized estimate for any necessary repairs prior to work being performed.
4. Supplying a Maintenance Checklist/Maintenance Report detailing tasks performed during monthly services.
Period of Performance
The contract will be for one (1) year with an option to extend for an additional year.
Place of Performance
Maintenance and delivery of products will occur at the County Truck Wash facilities located in Toms River and Manahawkin, New Jersey.
