Server Infrastructure & Management BP 19-T16 RFP No. 24.2526

Background
Chippewa Valley Schools is seeking proposals for a Server Infrastructure & Management System as part of their 2018 Bond Issue. The goal of this project is to implement a turnkey solution that includes the provision and installation of new virtual server infrastructure, ensuring that the school district's IT capabilities are enhanced and modernized.

Work Details
The vendor will be required to provide a complete solution, which includes:
- Installation of new virtual server infrastructure
- Provision of necessary racks and all cabling inside the rack
- Equipment installation
- Migration of all current virtual machines (VMs)
- Staff training on the new system.

The project is considered a 'Turnkey Solution' as described in the Agreement between the Owner and Contractor, AIA Document A151, 2007 Edition, as modified.

Period of Performance
The work is expected to begin with a kick-off meeting in May 2026, with completion of Sections 17230 anticipated by September 1, 2026. All installation and configuration will occur during first shift at the Administration Office. Any data migration or services impacting normal operations will take place during second shift or on weekends.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Chippewa Valley Schools’ facilities located at 19120 Cass Avenue, Clinton Township, MI 48038.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationships with members of the Owner’s School Board or Superintendent. Additionally, bidders must include an Iran Sanctions Affidavit and an Affidavit for Criminal Background Checks. Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or surety bond amounting to at least five percent (5%) of the total bid price.
