Med Sci Building 1 - B & D Wing

Background
The University of Michigan is re-designing the Med Sci Building 1 B&D Wing, which spans three floors. The goal of this project is to create audiovisual-enabled teaching and learning spaces that support the core programs of the University. These updated facilities will serve as public study areas, conference rooms, event spaces, and digital signage, which are crucial for the Medical School's launch in Fall 2025.

Work Details
The contract requires a turn-key job to be provided by a single vendor who will supply equipment, labor, installation materials, testing, training, and follow-up support for the audiovisual systems as specified. The project involves a phased installation across 15 AV spaces and 7 digital signs (totaling 22 systems) on three floors. Each floor will be available for work for four weeks, starting from the 5th floor and progressing down to the 3rd floor. Vendors must provide itemized prices and lead times or submit a 'No Bid' response with explanations.

Period of Performance
The project must be completed in time for the Medical School's Fall 2025 semester launch, with specific timelines for each phase of installation across the three floors.

The work will be performed at the University of Michigan's Med Sci Building 1 located in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
