Background
The Town of Braintree, Massachusetts is issuing a solicitation for the Braintree 2026 Water Improvements Project No. 1, Contract No. W26-1. The project aims to enhance the water infrastructure in the town, specifically targeting areas around Peach Street and Washington Street. Bidders must comply with current MassDOT prequalification procedures. The project has Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goals requiring a minimum of 5% D/MBE or D/WBE participation. All DBEs must be certified by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts under provisions certified by the Supplier Diversity Office (SDO).
Additionally, all employees working on this public works project must have completed at least ten hours of OSHA-approved safety training.
