SP26-VEHMAINT-F01 vehicle maintenance and repair

Background
The Massachusetts State Police Fleet Unit is seeking qualified contractors to provide vehicle maintenance and repair services. The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper functioning and safety of the vehicles, motorcycles, and garage equipment used by the Massachusetts State Police.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles, motorcycles, and garage equipment according to the specifications outlined in the Request for Response (RFR) SP26-VEHMAINT-F01. Specific services include:

1. Vehicle Maintenance and Repair: Hourly labor rates for an initial 2-year contract, cost for OEM and aftermarket parts, warranty on parts and labor.

2. Motorcycle Repair and Maintenance: Hourly labor rates, warranty on rebuilt transmissions with a one-year/12,000-mile guarantee.

3. Transmission Repair: Providing rebuilt transmissions for various vehicle models including 2018 Ford Fusion, 2018 Chevrolet Impala, 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe, etc., along with associated costs.

4. Automotive Equipment Maintenance: Hourly labor rates, travel rates, cost of parts with warranties.

5. Vehicle Electrical Maintenance: Similar requirements as above regarding hourly rates and warranties.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over an initial period of 2 years.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at designated service center locations as specified by the Massachusetts State Police.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must agree to accept parts/equipment from the Massachusetts State Police for repairs and installation. There are no specific set-aside certifications mentioned in the solicitation.
