SET Aside - ITQ - Auto Glass Repair

Background
The City of New Orleans, through its Office of Procurement and Bureau of Purchasing, is seeking quotes for mobile auto glass repair services. The goal of this contract is to provide timely and efficient repair and replacement services for auto glass to support the Equipment Maintenance Division's operations.

Work Details
The vendor will provide repair and replacement services for auto glass, which includes:
- Supplying replacement items
- Installation of items
- Disposal of replaced items
- Repair of existing glass

Removed items during the process (such as cameras or computers) must be re-installed in their original positions. The bid for glass replacement must be based on a discount off the list price published in the National Auto Glass Specifications (NAGS), with a requirement to submit a copy of the NAGS publication quarterly. The vendor must be available to perform services at least five days per week during regular working hours (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM CST), with options for weekend or off-hour service upon approval. Response time for service requests must be within two working days, with mobile service conducted at locations designated by the Equipment Maintenance Division. Specific definitions include laminated safety glass and tempered glass, along with guidelines for windshield repair and definitions of repairable windshield damage.

Period of Performance
The contract will remain effective until February 28, 2025.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations designated by the Equipment Maintenance Division within the City of New Orleans.
