Multimedia Communications Firm

Background
The Veterans Assistance Commission of McHenry, Illinois (VACMC) is seeking qualified multimedia communications firms to assist with various aspects of its communications program. The VACMC aims to enhance its outreach and effectiveness in informing the McHenry County community about veterans advocacy, assistance programs, and resources available for veterans and their families.

Work Details
The selected multimedia communications firm will be responsible for:

1. Developing and implementing a communications strategy to expand VACMC’s reach and social media following.
2. Creating and supporting communications campaigns related to VACMC's professional services and promoting local Veterans Service Organizations.
3. Advising on topical messaging content.
4. Filming and editing video content.
5. Recommending best practices and technology for optimal messaging impact.
6. Researching and drafting press releases.
7. Designing engaging social media graphics.
8. Updating and implementing VACMC's social media presence.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and will continue until the objectives are met as outlined in the proposal, with specific timelines to be determined during negotiations.

Place of Performance
The services will primarily be performed at the VACMC office located at 2200 N Seminary Avenue, Woodstock, IL, but may also include remote work as necessary.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in multimedia communications. They are required to provide mandatory company information including contact details, qualifications, references from similar projects, a fee schedule/pricing proposal, a W9 form, and confirm whether they are self-performing or using subcontractors.
