53FT Mobile Welding Classroom

Background
The Technical College System of Georgia is accepting sealed bids on behalf of Gwinnett Technical College for the purchase of one (1) 53FT Mobile Welding Certification Classroom.
This project aims to enhance the college's welding training capabilities at their Alpharetta-North Fulton Campus, located at 2875 Old Milton Parkway, Alpharetta, GA 30009.
The solicitation includes detailed project plans and specifications for a turnkey solution.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide a complete turn-key solution for a 53FT Mobile Welding Certification Classroom Trailer.
Key specifications include:
- A trailer with tandem axle, spare tire, drop down rear rollup door, and Rear ADA Electric Lift.
- Each of the twelve (12) welding stations must have an electric fume extractor system and a multi-process welder capable of Stick, TIG, MIG, Pulsed, and Flux Cored welding. One station must be ADA compliant.
- Minimum specifications include: manual leveling legs, air brakes, air ride suspension, LED interior lighting, DOT-compliant exterior lighting, retractable canopy, non-skid floorplate, gas lines with shut-off valves in each booth, electrical panels with various voltage requirements, emergency exit doors with signage and floodlight.
- Equipment requirements include: 12 Miller Dynasty 300 Multiprocess Welders, 12 Miller ArcReach Suitcase wire feeders, Hypertherm Plasma Machines, Miller Plasma Cutters, Lincoln Harris Torches for exterior hookup, wall exhaust fans at each station, and various electrical receptacles.
- Additional items such as a whiteboard (4 x 8) are also required. Suppliers must provide detailed specifications and a timeline for delivery and installation.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to follow the timeline provided by the supplier for equipment delivery and installation.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Gwinnett Technical College's Alpharetta-North Fulton Campus located at 2875 Old Milton Parkway Alpharetta GA 30009.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid conference on February 23, 2026.
They are required to submit several documents including references from comparable projects, resumes of certified welding inspectors, detailed specifications for the trailer and equipment offered, a timeline for delivery and installation, security forms, tax compliance documentation, and signed addendums.
