Background
Henry County Schools, a political subdivision of the State of Georgia, is seeking competitive bids from qualified and experienced offerors for the servicing of septic tanks and grease traps across its facilities. The goal of this contract is to ensure proper maintenance and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Work Details
The contractor will provide regular servicing of septic tanks and grease traps at all Henry County Schools facilities. Specific requirements include:

1) Annual servicing of septic tanks between July 1 - 23, 2026, including complete cleaning of all liquids and solids;

2) Bi-annual servicing of grease traps, ensuring complete cleaning during each visit;

3) Compliance with Federal and State regulations regarding effluent handling;

4) Submission of a detailed servicing schedule prior to work commencement;

5) The right for Henry County Schools to add or remove tanks/traps from the scope at any time;

6) Immediate response within two hours in case of emergencies;

7) All work must be performed by trained, uniformed staff.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence no later than March 11, 2026, with an initial duration through March 10, 2027. There are options for four one-year renewals contingent upon mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations within Henry County Schools facilities in Georgia.

Bidder Requirements
Offerors must hold a current registration as a Georgia Registered and Inspected Commercial Transporter from the Southeastern FOG Alliance. They must also provide proof of appropriate licensing and insurance coverage as specified in the solicitation. Subcontracting is not permitted; all personnel must be bona fide employees of the offeror.
