Viral Hepatitis and Treponemal Antibody Diagnostic Test Kits

Background
The Florida Department of Health (Department) is seeking competitive prices for FDA approved laboratory-based immunoassays for chronic hepatitis and syphilis Treponemal antibody tests.
This Invitation to Bid (ITB) aims to enhance public health diagnostics by providing necessary testing kits to county health departments across Florida.

Work Details
The contract involves supplying FDA approved laboratory-based immunoassays for the following tests:
- Hepatitis A IgG antibody (HAVAB)
- Hepatitis B surface antigen (HBSAG)
- Hepatitis B surface antibody (HBSAB)
- Hepatitis B core total antibody (HBCAB)
- Hepatitis C total antibody (HCVAB)
- Treponemal antibody immunoassay (TPIA).
Each test kit must include reagents, controls, and calibrators as specified in the Package Insert. The kits must be compatible with a common automated, random-access laboratory analyzer and have a minimum shelf-life of 90 days from receipt. Additionally, the provider must supply six new analyzers to various locations in Florida, ensuring installation within 30 days of order issuance.

Period of Performance
The anticipated contract duration is one year from March 1, 2025, with potential renewals for up to three additional years based on performance evaluations and funding availability.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at various locations in Florida, specifically at the Bureau of Public Health Laboratories in Jacksonville, Tampa, and Miami.

Bidder Requirements
Respondents must comply with section 287.135 of Florida Statutes regarding scrutinized companies and submit a Statement of Non-Collusion.
They must also be registered with the MyFloridaMarketPlace system within five days after posting the Intent to Award. The Department encourages participation from certified minority, women, and Florida veteran businesses.
