Background
The Pinellas County School District is seeking bids for Truck, Trailer & Bus Repair services to support their operations at Pinellas Technical College, St. Pete Campus. The goal of this contract is to select multiple vendors who can provide these services on an as-needed basis, ensuring reliable access to maintenance and repair for the district's fleet of vehicles.
Work Details
The selected vendors will provide repair services for Class A & Class B Commercial Trucks, School Buses, and Trailers. Vendors must have a repair facility equipped with necessary tools and diagnostic equipment and must have been operational for at least five consecutive years within the last seven years. All repair technicians must have a minimum of five years of hands-on experience with the relevant equipment. An ASE Certified Technician must be present on-site.
The contract includes provisions for parts pricing based on discounts from list prices, warranty guarantees for work performed, and compliance with insurance requirements if work is conducted on campus. Specific vehicles listed include various models from International and Peterbilt among others.
Period of Performance
The contract period will commence on January 28, 2025, and end on January 27, 2026. There are options for two additional one-year renewals based on mutual consent.
