Background
The Division of Communication is seeking bids for the Seaford Tower Shelter Project, which involves the construction of a new telecommunication enclosure assembly (shelter) adjacent to an existing shelter. The project aims to install a prefabricated concrete shelter on a new foundation, connect it to an existing communications tower, and install new equipment within the shelter.

Work Details
The project involves the construction of a new 12’x24’ prefabricated concrete shelter, installation of a new foundation, connection to an existing communications tower with a new ice bridge, and installation of existing and new equipment within the shelter.
The project also requires attendance at a mandatory pre-bid meeting to establish subcontractor listings and answer questions.

Period of Performance
Bids for OMB/DFM Contract No. MC4501000011 are due by 1:00PM local time on March 19, 2024.
The construction documents will be available for review at specific locations, and the successful bidder must post a performance bond and payment bond equal to 100 percent of the contract price upon execution of the contract.

Place of Performance
The construction will take place at the Division of Facilities Management Conference Room in the Haslet Armory Building, 122 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. South, Dover, DE 19901.
