Global Positioning System And Electronic Monitoring Services Request

Background
The State of California is requesting new, innovative, and advanced technologies with GPS technology to enhance offender supervision efficiency. The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) has been utilizing GPS technology to track high-risk offenders and Electronic Monitoring (EM) with Radio Frequency (RF) for enhanced supervision.

The contract aims to provide complete public safety services through improved data sharing and analysis.

Work Details
The contract involves the provision of Global Positioning System (GPS) and Electronic Monitoring (EM) services. Specific details include equipment requirements such as the Electronics Monitoring Device, Equipment Tracking, Communication, Battery, Alert Notifications, Strap, Accessory, Monitoring Center Facility, Installation, Testing, Inventory Management, Offender Notification, Data Center requirements, Security measures, System Software, Mapping, Reporting, Web Service Reporting, Data Integration, Documentation Support, Law Enforcement Data Collection and Analysis Requirements.

Period of Performance
The term of the Contract is three years with an estimated start date of April 1, 2024. The State may exercise an optional three-year extension for a maximum total term of six years. The Contractor is not authorized to deliver goods or commence services before the Effective Date.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed in California as per the requirements outlined in the solicitation document.
