24-10033-000 Fire Engine Maintenance and Repair Services

Background
The Department of State Hospitals - Atascadero is seeking bids for Fire Engine Maintenance and Repair Services under IFB Number 24-10033-000. The goal of this contract is to ensure the operational readiness and maintenance of two fire engines utilized by the department. This plays a critical role in supporting the mission of public safety and health services.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all necessary materials, supplies, tools, equipment, transportation, licenses, certifications, permits, insurance, personnel, and any other items necessary to deliver Fire Engine Maintenance and Repair services for two DSH-Atascadero fire engines on a regular scheduled and as-needed basis.

The contractor's facility must be located within sixty (60) miles of DSH-Atascadero. Mobile services may be provided if mutually agreed upon. Specific qualifications include proof of Emergency Vehicle Technician Certification (EVT) Fire Mechanic 1, 2, or 3 and current Pierce Dealer Preventative Maintenance Training Certification.

Period of Performance
The anticipated term of the agreement is from March 1, 2025, through February 29, 2028.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Department of State Hospitals - Atascadero located at 10333 El Camino Real, Atascadero, CA 93422.
