This contract provides comprehensive Architect-Engineer (AE) services for planning, design, and construction support for Mechanical, Electrical, And Plumbing (MEP) small projects primarily at Public Works Department (PWD) crane, Indiana, including glendora test facility, sullivan, Indiana. Includes design and engineering for new construction, renovations, repairs, replacement, demolition, alteration, and improvements of military and governmental facilities, encompassing a wide range of disciplines such as architectural, structural, civil, geotechnical, fire protection, and cost engineering. Specific tasks performed include rail siding design, building heating system replacement, stormwater and utility studies, exterior wall and tank repairs, building modernization, wastewater treatment plant upgrades, dam risk analysis and concept design, waterline replacement, inflow and infiltration studies, stair and warehouse conversions, facility structural inspections, electrical reconductoring, tower inspections, and flow meter relocation at NSA crane.

Aug 2021: Advanced Engineering Consultants Ltd.,* Columbus, Ohio, is being awarded a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, multi-discipline architect-engineering contract with a maximum amount of $25,000,000 for architect-engineering services in support of mechanical electrical and plumbing (MEP) small design and engineering projects primarily at the Public Works Department (PWD) Crane area of operations. An initial task order for the seed project, Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Building 2536 waterline replacement, is being awarded in the amount of $109,240. The work to be performed provides for comprehensive architect-engineering services for planning, design, and construction services in support of the new construction, renovations, repairs, replacement, demolition, alteration, and/or improvement of military and other governmental facilities for MEP small design projects located primarily at PWD Crane Indiana, AO, including Glendora Test Facility. Work on this contract will be performed primarily in Sullivan, Indiana. The term of the contract is not to exceed 60 months with an expected completion date August 2026.  Fiscal 2021 defense working capital funds (DWCF) in the amount of $109,240 are obligated on this award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  Future task orders will be primarily funded by DWCF.   This contract was competitively procured via the Beta.sam.gov website with six proposals received.  NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic, Norfolk, Virginia, is the contracting activity (N40085-21-D-0089).
