A-e services: waterfront inspections region 2. Work performed under this award includes inspection and assessment of waterfront facilities at locations such as Washington Navy yard, Naval Station Norfolk, nas oceana, naval research laboratory (Washington dc), mcaf and mcb quantico (VA), usna and NSA annapolis (MD), and sites in norfolk, hampton roads, and craney island. Tasks include engineering analysis of material condition, geotechnical investigations (such as uemms), surveys of damaged piers and pile CAP systems, design studies for basin layouts, and development of repair recommendations for quaywalls, piers, and seawalls.
