Government Description
National security guard services for United States coast guard. Includes providing armed security guard services 24 hours a day, seven days a week at up to 62 USCG installations, units, bases, and facilities within the United States (CONUS), outside the United States (OCONUS), and U.S. Territories. Services are performed in accordance with standard security requirements established by the Deputy Commandant For Mission Support, Office of Security Policy & Management (DCMS-34), with requirements at different USCG locations varying based on local rules, regulations, and unique geographic needs. Guards utilize standard uniforms, weapons, tactical gear, and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) it products for administrative functions such as scanning badges and issuing access.
