Detecting deception and eliciting response role players provided to support U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Office of Training and Development (OTD) training at the Advanced Training Center (ATC) in harpers ferry, WV. Includes supplying role players with acting skills and cultural knowledge relevant to latin american, south asian, east asian, and/or middle eastern backgrounds for up to 24 Detecting Deception and Eliciting Responses (DDER) training sessions per year. Role players participate in rapport-based interviewing scenarios to help CBP personnel develop non-confrontational, conversational interviewing skills for information gathering. The contractor ensures role players are adequately trained and prepared for each session.
