Purpose: Seal taxiway pavement surface/pavement joints; seal runway pavement surface/pavement joints.

Activities to be performed/expected outcomes:
This project performs sealing to 2,000 feet of the existing Taxiway B surface to extend the pavement's useful life.
This project performs sealing to 2,000 feet of the existing Taxiway C surface to extend the pavement's useful life.
This project performs sealing to 3,000 feet of the existing Taxiway E South surface to extend the pavement's useful life.
This project performs sealing to 5,000 feet of the existing Runway 5/23 surface to extend the pavement's useful life.
This project performs sealing to 5,000 feet of the existing Taxiway A surface to extend the pavement's useful life.

Intended beneficiary:
This grant will provide federal funding for airports associated with Venice, Florida.

THIS GRANT PROGRAM PURPOSE IS TO FUND AIRPORT PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT (AIRPORT CONSTRUCTION AND IMPROVEMENT) PROJECTS THAT SUPPORT LONG STANDING FAA GOALS OF SAFETY OR SECURITY, SYSTEM CAPACITY, ENVIRONMENT AND ACCESS. FAA CONSIDERS GRANTS THAT ALIGN WITH ADMINISTRATION GOALS OF SAFETY, ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP, INCLUDING CLIMATE CHANGE AND SUSTAINABILITY, EQUITY, CREATION OF GOOD JOBS AND INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENT (PER EXECUTIVE ORDERS INCLUDING EO 13166, 13985, 13988, 14005, 14008, 14025).
