Background
The purpose of this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is to support established biomedical data resources, that have demonstrated impact and have potential for continued benefit to the mission of one or more of the NIH Institutes and Centers participating in this announcement. The funding opportunity announcements were first launched in 2019 to realize NIH's vision for a modernized biomedical data ecosystem as outlined in NIH’s Strategic Plan for Data Science.

The funding opportunities were reissued in 2023 to align with the NIH Data Management and Sharing Policy.
