Summary
This Statement of Work (SOW) is for cleaning, maintenance, and mowing services at the C.J. Brown Dam & Reservoir in Clark County, Ohio, managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).
The contractor is required to provide all necessary management, personnel, materials, tools, and equipment to perform these services in accordance with specified terms and conditions. The work is critical to the Corps' mission and must be executed in public recreation areas with an emphasis on quality service and customer care.
All tasks will be ordered through individual Task Orders issued by the Contracting Officer (KO), and contractors are encouraged to promote the employment of U.S. veterans during contract performance.
Key requirements include adherence to safety protocols as outlined by OSHA and the Corps of Engineers Manual, submission of a Quality Control Plan and Accident Prevention Plan prior to service commencement, and compliance with working hours from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., excluding federal holidays.
Contractors must also ensure that their employees maintain a professional appearance while on duty and that all vehicles used are properly identified and maintained.
The SOW emphasizes that variations in estimated quantities for services will not justify contract modifications or additional payments, highlighting the importance of accurate pricing proposals based on provided estimates.
