Industry Day Information for Solicitation 80GRC022R0029 Safety & Mission Assurance,
Audits, Assessments and Analysis (SA3)
The NASA Glenn Research Center (GRC) recently announced a contract opportunity for Safety &
Mission Assurance, Audits, Assessments and Analysis (SA3) services for the NASA Safety Center (NSC).
The procurement is a follow-on to contract NNC16BA04B. This procurement is being issued as a full
and open competition.
An information exchange for SA3 will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021. The event will be held via
both teleconference and Microsoft Teams meeting starting promptly at 11:00 AM EST. The event is
planned for one hour. Additional 30-minute one-on-one slots are available upon request following the
Industry Day meeting. Please contact Raenala Brown (raenala.c.brown@nasa.gov) and Erica Chambers
(erica.m.chambers@nasa.gov) to request the Microsoft Teams link to register for both the TEAMS
meeting attendance and/or for a 30-minute one-on-one session by 6:00 PM EST January 15, 2021.
Unregistered parties MAY NOT attend any of the Industry Day activities no exceptions will be made to
the registration deadline. Registering parties are limited to 4 individuals per company and all
participants must be current US citizens.
The SA3 presentation will be posted to the Beta.Sam website prior to this event start time. The
presentation information will be discussed with an opportunity for questions after the presentation
concludes.
Prior to this information exchange event, we are requesting that attendees send the Contracting Officer
one point of contact with the following information:

A list of company attendees will also be posted to https://beta.sam.gov/. Attendance at the event is
neither required nor a prerequisite for proposal submission and will not be considered in the
evaluation. An onsite Industry Day is not planned for this procurement.
Potential Offerors shall consider:
1. Do they feel the new Small Business Goals are adequate or is there room for additional opportunity?
2. Do they think the page count and page formatting is accurate for the amount of information
requested?
Responses to these questions may be addressed during one-on-one discussions.
Interested parties are responsible for monitoring Beta.Sam for any updates or changes. Comments
regarding this information exchange can be submitted in writing to raenala.c.brown@nasa.gov no later
than 6:00 pm EST on January 22, 2021. The Government does not intend to formally respond to these
comments but will consider comments when finalizing the Request for Proposal (RFP). Please put the
draft solicitation number, 80GRC022R0029, in the subject line of email.
