The United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence would like you to save the date for our 2021 Army Aviation Industry Days, sponsored by the Fort Rucker, Alabama Family, Morale, Welfare, and Recreation Directorate from 20-22 July 2021 at Fort Rucker, AL.
The purpose of Army Aviation Industry Days 2021 is to:
Allow industry partners an opportunity to showcase their capabilities to the Army Aviation community.
Allow visitors to learn about technologies that support the Armys modernization priorities.
Provide leaders throughout the military, government laboratories, acquisition agencies, and industry partners a forum to share equities and build partnerships.
To provide industry access and insight to future modernization efforts.
Army Aviation Industry Days is an annual event conducted at the Home of Army Aviation, Fort Rucker, Alabama. The event is open to Industry and the Fort Rucker Community.
The first formal session of Army Aviation Industry Days begins on the afternoon of 20 July, with a classified plenary session on scenario planning and force structure concepts at the Army Aviation Maneuver Battle Lab. The purpose of this session is to share Army Aviation concepts, experiments and analysis for Army Aviation in support of Multi-Domain Operations. A second plenary session will be offered on 22 July on a different topic. A security clearance, validated by Defense Information Security System (DISS), is required to attend classified sessions. Recommend your security manager process visit requests for one year to facilitate future visits to the Aviation Maneuver Battle Lab.
On Wednesday morning, July 21, Army senior leaders welcome Army Aviation Industry Days participants with overarching requirements and scene setter presentations on Army Aviation readiness and signature modernization activities. On Wednesday afternoon, Aviation Capability Development and Integration Directorate (CDID) Directors will provide joint updates and presentations on future concepts of operation, key enabling technologies and programs. CDID Director and Army Program Manager briefings will continue on Thursday morning. These briefings are unclassified so there is no need to submit DISS information to attend these briefings.
Throughout Army Aviation Industry Days, industry partners are invited to establish product/ capability booths, conduct static displays of equipment and aircraft prototypes (or mock up). These displays are highly encouraged at Army Aviation Industry Days 2021 and both covered and uncovered space is available upon coordination.
We encourage early and prompt reservations to ensure your participation at what we hope, will be our first opportunity to collaborate in some time. We also recognize industry partners need to plan during these uncertain times. The United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence and Fort Rucker are currently observing local, state, DoD, and Federal guidelines during the COVID pandemic. A GO/ NO GO decision for the execution of Army Aviation Industry Days 2021 is expected no later than May 20, 2021.
Industry participants must provide proof of individuals being fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (e.g. 2 of 2 vaccinations). All participants must acknowledge this vaccination requirement which will be verified for all participants at the actual event.
