2021 Army Aviation Industry Days - Fort Rucker

Background
The United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence, sponsored by the Fort Rucker Family Morale, Welfare, and Recreation Directorate, is hosting the 8th Annual Army Aviation Industry Days. This annual event provides a forum for industry partners, military leaders, government laboratories, and acquisition agencies to showcase capabilities, learn about technologies supporting Army modernization priorities, share equities, and build partnerships within the Army Aviation community.

Work Details
- Save the date for the 2021 Army Aviation Industry Days, 20-22 July 2021 at Fort Rucker, AL.
- Allow industry partners to showcase capabilities to the Army Aviation community and visitors to learn about technologies supporting the Army's modernization priorities.
- Provide leaders throughout the military, government laboratories, acquisition agencies, and industry partners a forum to share equities and build partnerships and to provide industry access and insight to future modernization efforts.
- Conduct a classified plenary session on scenario planning and force structure concepts at the Army Aviation Maneuver Battle Lab on the afternoon of 20 July 2021.
- Offer a second plenary session on 22 July 2021.
- Wednesday, 21 July morning: Army senior leaders present overarching requirements and scene setter presentations on Army Aviation readiness and signature modernization activities.
- Wednesday afternoon: Aviation Capability Development and Integration Directorate (CDID) Directors provide joint updates and presentations on future concepts of operation, key enabling technologies, and programs.
- Thursday morning: Unclassified CDID Director and Army Program Manager briefings (no DISS requirement).
- Throughout the event, facilitate industry partner product/capability booths and static displays of equipment and aircraft prototypes, with covered and uncovered space available upon coordination.
- Coordinate early reservations and make a GO/NO GO decision by 20 May 2021 based on local, state, DoD, and Federal COVID-19 guidelines.

Attendance at classified sessions requires a security clearance validated by the Defense Information Security System (DISS) with a visit request to SMO Code W0U9AA6C. Industry participants must provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination (2 of 2 doses) or a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the event; masks are required for non-vaccinated personnel.
