Government Description
Construction renovation of building 631 at Grand Forks Air Force Base (GFAFB), ND for use as a Disaster Resiliency Program (DRP) Formal Training Unit (FTU). Includes renovation of the existing two-story, 40,000 SF facility with reinforced concrete foundation, structural steel frame, steel stud walls with eifs, and standing seam metal roof system, designed to meet DOD requirements and security protocols for Special Access Programs (SAP). Tasks include installation of raised access flooring, security sensors, alarms, cybersecurity measures, complete upgrade of electrical and mechanical systems, installation of an exterior generator, construction of a communications hut, and modification of plumbing and fire protection systems to accommodate new restrooms, showers, break areas, and clean agent suppression systems. All necessary site work, utilities, pavements, and passive barriers are included.
