Mar 2022: BAE Systems - San Diego Ship Repair, San Diego, California, is awarded an $89,432,169, firm-fixed-price contract for the execution of the USS Mustin (DDG 89) fiscal 2022 depot modernization period. This availability will include a combination of maintenance, modernization and repair of the USS Mustin (DDG 89). This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $95,201,563. Work will be performed in San Diego, California, and is expected to be completed by November 2023. Fiscal 2021 other procurement (Navy) in the amount of $65,912,200 (73.7%); fiscal 2022 other procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $17,485,155 (19.6%); and fiscal 2022 operations and maintenance (Navy) funds in the amount of $6,034,814 (6.7%) will be obligated at time of award, of which funding in the amount of $6,034,814 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
