Government Description
Mail and parcel screening services provided to support the Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA) mission of security screening Department of Defense (DOD) mail and parcels for hazards. The contractor screens all inbound mail and parcels for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, And Explosives (CBRNE) hazards, suspicious materials, contraband, prohibited or illegal items, threatening or suspicious communications, classified or comsec mailing violations, and other security violations before delivery to recipients in the National Capital Region (NCR). All mail and parcels are screened within the same day of receipt unless otherwise approved, and flagged items are intercepted prior to entering protected facilities. The contractor also provides customer service related to screening operations for mail/parcel recipients and security and logistics partners.
