VA - Maintenance for Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) - MRAS

On behalf of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) is conducting market research to identify capable service providers for a critical maintenance project in Boise, Idaho. The primary goal is to ensure reliable and continuous operation of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems and associated cooling units at the VA's Boise Regional Office. This effort supports the VA's mission by maintaining essential infrastructure that safeguards power stability and environmental control, thereby ensuring uninterrupted service delivery to veterans.

The scope of work involves comprehensive preventive maintenance, on-site repairs, and emergency support services for APC UPS systems and InRow cooling units located at 444 W. Fort Street, Boise, ID. The contractor must be an APC-certified service provider capable of performing semi-annual maintenance checks as well as providing 24/7 emergency repair services. Key tasks include inspections, certifications, and repairs conducted in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards. This ensures that all equipment remains operationally efficient and minimizes downtime risks.

The contract will be structured as a Firm-Fixed-Price agreement with a performance period commencing within 30 calendar days from the award date. The selected contractor will be responsible for all labor, materials, parts (excluding batteries), and other necessary resources required to fulfill the maintenance obligations outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW). Additionally, contractors are required to provide detailed inspection sheets both during bid submission and post-service delivery to ensure transparency and accountability throughout the contract lifecycle.
