Background
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is conducting market research to determine industry capabilities and refine its procurement strategy for a digital and electronic workspace management system.

The goal is to develop a cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS) platform that features an easy-to-use interface responsive to various devices, facilitating use across multiple FAA Enterprise locations in the US. This initiative aims to adapt to the agency's growing technical needs and improve workspace management.

Work Details
The contract requires the development of a SaaS solution that includes comprehensive implementation, data migration, systems integration, user training, support, and maintenance.

The software must allow users to reserve conference rooms and workplace spaces (desks, meeting rooms) from a centralized location using any device. Key requirements include:
1. Must be hosted on a FEDRAMP authorized cloud provider.
2. Easy access through application programming interfaces (API) for data exchanges.
3. High availability with at least 99.5% uptime.
4. Clear disaster Recovery Time Objective (RTO) and Recovery Point Objective (RPO).
5. Scalability for over 100,000 users across different time zones.
6. Compliance with FEDRAMP, FISMA, and NIST SP 800-53 standards.
7. Integration with FAA’s identification and multi-factor authentication technologies including MyAccess SSO and PIV systems.
8. Comprehensive auditing of all reservations and administrative actions.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance for this future action is 5 years, consisting of one base year plus four option years.
