SOURCES SOUGHT - 36 MXG Aerospace Ground Equipment and Munitions Trailer Corrosion Control Repair and Paint Services (Andersen AFB, GUAM)

Background
The 36th Contracting Squadron at Andersen Air Force Base in Yigo, Guam is seeking information for a market research/sources sought notice regarding corrosion control repair and paint services for Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) and Munitions (MUNS) Trailers.

The primary objective of this contract is to ensure the maintenance and operational readiness of these assets through comprehensive corrosion control services.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide complete corrosion removal, surface preparation, and coating applications in accordance with applicable Technical Orders.

Tasks include:
1. Performing metal repair (welding and fabrication), fiberglass rework, plastic structure restoration, composite repairs, and painting.
2. Utilizing sufficient surface preparation equipment to remove existing coatings while ensuring optimal adhesion of new paint systems.
3. Replacing corroded hardware as specified in the Technical Orders or directed by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
4. Conducting repairs according to identified repair levels during inspections.
5. Adhering to established equipment pickup and return timeframes to minimize disruption to government operations.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a period of performance consisting of one base year with four option years, or until the cumulative value of all orders reaches the ceiling of the Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract.

Place of Performance
The work will primarily be performed at Andersen Air Force Base in Yigo, Guam.
