Background
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Indian Health Service (IHS) is responsible for raising the physical, mental, social, and spiritual health of American Indians and Alaska Natives to the highest level. The Office of Information Technology (OIT), Division of Information Technology Operations (OITO) requires brand name Qualstar Q80 Tape Library Hardware Extended Warranty Services in support of the Q80 tape libraries and the LT07 FC tape drives still required by the National Data Warehouse. This acquisition is being conducted using Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 13 – Simplified Acquisition Procedures and is being solicited as a set-aside for Small Business vendors who are Qualstar manufacture authorized resellers and capable of providing the required brand name Qualstar Q80 Tape Library Hardware Extended Warranty Services.

Work Details
The requirement is for brand name Qualstar Q80 Tape Library Hardware One (1)-year Extended Warranty Services for three (3) Q80 Tape Library Devices. The warranty and support coverage includes phone/email support M-F 7 AM - 4 PM PST, advance replacement during the warranty period, and priority shipping. The warranty services also cover 18 IBM LTO-7 FC Tape drives installed with associated serial numbers DE68101862, DE68101861, DE68101860.

Period of Performance
The Period of Performance (POP) will be one (1) twelve (12)-month Base Period from 09/26/2022 to 09/25/2023.

Place of Performance
Delivery will be made electronically to HHS, IHS, OIT, OITO.
