Painting Vehicles and Equipment

Background
The 7th Air Force (7th AF) is seeking contracted maintenance support to provide painting and corrosion prevention services for vehicles and equipment. This initiative aims to enhance logistical support within the Korea Theater of Operations (KTO) by maintaining the service life and capability of equipment, which is crucial due to the corrosive environment caused by humidity in the region.

The contractor will be responsible for performing Polyurethane Painting on various vehicles and equipment permanently assigned within KTO.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform Corrosion Prevention and Control (CPC) painting of vehicles and equipment for the United States Air Force (USAF). Specific tasks include:

1. Washing/Cleaning: Service all surfaces including undercarriage prior to surface preparation.
2. Masking Requirements: Protect all parts that should not be painted.
3. Surface Preparation: Remove all corrosion before applying paint.
4. Prime/Seal: Apply self-etching primer to prevent future deterioration.
5. Paint Specifics: Refinish surfaces using an industrial polyurethane coating with a minimum thickness of 6 mils in specified colors.
6. Quality Control: Submit a quality control plan within 30 days after contract award, detailing inspection systems and methods for identifying defects.
7. Compliance: Ensure adherence to Korean Environmental Laws and Regulations throughout the contract duration.

Period of Performance
Base Year from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025; with options extending through January 1, 2029, to December 31, 2029.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various locations within the Korea Theater of Operations.
