Update for Amendment 05, 5 Aug 24: This requirement has been updated as follows:

  • The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has issued an individual waiver of the Nonmanufacturer Rule (NMR) for this requirement.
  • FAR Clauses for Attachmnet 01 have been updated.
  • Attachment 02 Statement of Work (SOW) has been updated to clarifiy Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) terminology.

The due dates for proposals has been adjusted to 1200 CT, 13 Aug 2024. This information has been updated in Combined Synopsis attachment. All changes to the attachments have been highlighted in Yellow.

All previous respondants to this solicitation must affirm their quotes shall be valid for 90 days after the closing date of the RFQ for Amendment 05. All previously submitted quotes must be confirmed if they are still valid. If not, please resubmit a new quote.

Background
The objective of Ultimate Building Machines (UBM) is to develop capabilities to rapidly construct K-Span structures which are vertical steel shelters that are used in CONUS and OCONUS locations. In all scenarios, time is a critical factor, either to be use as an operational facility for personnel and equipment or for the rapid need to store crucial material out of the elements. The contractor shall supply, transport, deliver, and offload the required materials (in various configurations).
