NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 5.101 requiring dissemination of information for proposed contract actions. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract, and is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals. The statutory authority for this sole source procurement is prescribed by FAR 13.501(a). The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 22 (NCO 22) intends to issue a five year (one 12-month base year; and four 12-month option years); firm fixed prices; sole source award contract to Verdek LLC. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement demonstrating the ability to provide the requested services, which shall be considered by the agency before the intended award date. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided. No requests for capability briefings will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested vendors must respond to this notice on or before January 26, 2024, at 04:30 p.m. PST by sending an email to Dyne.Kim@va.gov. NAICS Code: 513210 This industry comprises establishments primarily engaged in software publishing. Establishments in this industry carry out operations necessary for producing and distributing computer software, such as designing, providing documentation, assisting in installation, and providing support services to software purchasers. These establishments may design, develop, and publish, or publish only. These establishments may publish and distribute software through subscriptions and/or downloads. Background: Southern Arizona VA Healthcare System uses Verdek LLC s electric vehicle charging stations, which requires proprietary software to operate. Network Cloud Software Services for already existing Verdek charging stations for government owned electric cars. 18 charging stations are currently installed on campus. The software enables the access cards to be utilized to start the charge with vehicles is plugged in. the software also allows use of data and reporting functions. Network Cloud Software Services allow EV drivers, and Verdek Support to interact with the EV charging stations. Scope: The contractor shall be certified to perform any services/maintenance on the electric charging stations, provide documentation/copy of certification with proposal submittals and upon award, and provide corrective and preventive maintenance for the electric charging stations application. Objectives: The Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS) requires a service agreement to provide licenses for and maintain the Verdek LLC s electric charging stations application.
