Work Details

The offeror must review the list of excluded parties in the System for Award Management (SAM) for entities excluded from receiving federal awards for 'covered defense telecommunications equipment or services.' Additionally, the offeror must provide a description of all covered defense telecommunications equipment and services offered, an explanation of the proposed use of such equipment and services, and details about the entity providing the covered defense telecommunications services or equipment. Furthermore, the solicitation mandates that products, platforms, and services delivered as part of this work statement must conform to the Revised 508 Standards.
It also requires the submission of an Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR) for each commercially available Information and Communication Technology (ICT) item offered through this contract. The ACR must be created using the Voluntary Product Accessibility Template Version 2.1 or later and must address applicable Section 508 requirements referenced in the Work Statement. The offeror is also required to describe their approach to incorporating universal design principles to ensure ICT products or services are designed to support disabled users, plans for features that do not fully conform to the Section 508 Standards, 'typical' user scenarios and tasks including individuals with disabilities, and acceptance criteria related to Section 508 conformance claims.
